FCC Unit

 Using AspenTech's DMCplus and  inferential calculations, an FCC unit controller was deployed.  The controller to cover both the RX/RG section and Main fractionator and light-ends column. The controller significantly maximizes feed rate subjects to process, product qualities and environmental constraints.  The DMC controller also opimize the product cutpoint to optimize expensive products at expenses of less expensive products subjects to qualities constraints.  The project payback is less than six months.

EB/SM

 Using AspenTech DMC3 and inferential calculations, an entire unit of EB/SM controllers were deployed.  The controller objectives maximize feed rate, minimize steam consumption, and improve EB recovery subject to SM product operating qualities targets, and process units constraints.  The project payback is within a few months.  Post audit benefits reports were presented to confirm the investment return.

VCM Unit

VCM Unit

 Using AspenTech's DMCplus, and DMC3 advanced process control software,  the entire VCM unit was deployed for several sites. The controller maximized the feed rate , and improve cracking yields subjects to process unit constraints, and product qualities constraints.  The project payback is less than six months.
